SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT:
AUPUNI CENTER PARKING LOT

We request the Hawaii County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 7, Section 24-292,
Schedule 40, "8 hour parking meter zones", subsection (c) South Hilo, be amended to delete the
following listing:
This amendment is proposed to enhance emergency readiness and response by allowing the
staging of County vehicles within the existing metered zone.
