Subject: I wholeheartedly support the resolution for peace
Resolution 235-25 Draft 2 "A Commitment to Peace" is much needed at a time when we seem to have
ignored the lessons of history and are watching a genocide unfold before our eyes. We also keep rattling
sabres at our neighbors near and far.
If we truly want the world to embrace our culture of`aloha we should shut down the 133,000-acre
Pohakuloa Training Area for War (including Nuclear war) in the center of Hawaii Island.
This resolution and its attendant actions will send a strong message about how sincere we are about
committing to peace.
Please adopt and act on this resolution.
