SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT
Keaau-Pahoa Road
Proposed Mid-Block Crosswalk fronting Pahoa School
We received a request to authorize a Mid-Block Crosswalk along the Keaau-Pahoa Road between Kaohe
Homestead Road and the Sacred Heart Church. A location map is attached.
We met with school officials and the Hawaii Police Department, (Community Policing) to determine the
best location for the new crosswalk.
We ask for your review and consideration for adoption of the subject amendment. Should you have any
