Re: Multi -function copier/printer/scanner leases`'
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year,
for a five-year agreement for the leasing of two multi -function copier/printer/scanner
machines for Office of the Prosecuting Attorney's Hilo and Kona offices. The annual
cost for each machine will be $6,500 a year.
Our Hilo office currently utilizes a much larger high production multi -function
copier/printer/scanner that costs approximately $11,820 a year. The lease for this
machine lapses at the end of November 2025. Since making the shift and going
paperless, we are no longer in need of a large high production multi -function
copier/printer/scanner. The current Kona office's multi -function copier/printer/scanner
lease lapses at the end of March 2026 and costs approximately $7,100 a year. The new
multi -function copier/printer/scanner leases will replace these two machines and provide
for some cost savings.
