RE: Bill 51 Relating to Real Property Taxation
Attached is a proposed Draft 2 to Bill 51 which amends
Chapter 19 relating to real property taxation. Bill 51 is
currently deferred in your committee.
With the assistance of your committee staff Liana Cox, a
number of typographical errors were noted and included in
proposed Draft 2. In a final review of Bill 51,
additional amendments were discovered and are included in
Draft 2.
These additional amendments are:
Section 19-53
Subsection 19-53(e)(2)(A)(ii) brackets should be
removed. (pg. 29)
Subsection 19-53(f)(2)(A) the "per annum" in the
last line should be bracketed. (pg.31)
Section 19-58.1
Subsection 19-58.1(b) in the second to the last
line in paragraph, the phrase "or native forest"
has been moved to before the word "assessment".
The phrase "or native forest" originally followed
the word "assessment". (pg. 92)
