Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 302-25, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 302-25, transmitted by Finance Director Diane Nakagawa via Communication
No. 478, dated August 28, 2025, authorizes the payment of funds of later fiscal years and authorizes
the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the State of Hawaii, Office of the Auditor, for an audit
of the Employees' Retirement System of the State of Hawaii.
This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a three-year agreement with an approximate
total cost of $14,400, for an audit of the schedule of employer allocations of the Employees'
Retirement System of the State of Hawaii, in order to meet the reporting requirements under
Governmental Accounting Standards Board Statement No. 68, "Accounting and Financial Reporting
for Pensions."
There was no discussion on this matter.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 302-25, and
recommends its adoption.
