Aloha Council Member Villegas:
My sincere mahalo for your initial commitment to support the efforts of the Hawaii
Island Labor Day Classic. Our mission is to boost the Big Island's economy through
Sports Tourism while providing and avenue to grow our youth volleyball program. Your
financial commitment will help us present a quality program that will enrich our local
lifestyle and provide an educational and authentic "Hawaii" experience for our visiting
teams.
More importantly, our goal is to grow in numbers, become financially self sustaining in
short time and become one to Hawaii's premier Sports Event and economic
contributor.
I want to thank you in advance for your continued support to pass Resolution 269-2E
to be heard on August 20, 2025 County Council Meeting.
