A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION
TO PURCHASE 3D PRINTER EQUIPMENT FOR SIGNAGE.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Parks Maintenance Division, maintains inland parks, beach parks, playgrounds, ball fields, cemeteries, and other recreational facilities,
undertakes construction, repair, and renovation projects for buildings, equipment, and grounds, and operates a storeroom for departmental maintenance supplies; and
WHEREAS, one of the goals of the Parks Maintenance Division is to provide the public with safe repair and renovation projects for buildings, equipment, and grounds, and to support landscaping
and beautification projects; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds to purchase 3D printer equipment, including associated shipping fees, for the production of signage; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I that Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to the Department of Parks and Recreation to purchase
3D printer equipment for signage.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai‘i hereby transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:
