Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 344-25, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 344-25, transmitted by Director of Information Technology Corey K. Stone via
Communication No. 544, dated September 22, 2025, authorizes the payment of funds from later
fiscal years to enter into a licensing agreement for proprietary computer software and related
services to be used by the Department of Information Technology.
This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a three-year agreement with an approximate annual
cost of $934,000, for continued use of the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement program necessary for
numerous County functions and operations.
Information Technology Director Corey K. Stone was present and provided background on this program
and how this will assist the County.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 344-25, and
recommends its adoption.
