RE: Transmitting Resolution No. 320-25, Draft 2; A Resolution Expressing Support
for Due Process and The Protection of Constitutional Rights for All Residents of
The County of Hawai'i and Affirming the County's Commitment to
Multiculturalism and Its Immigrant Heritage.
Transmitted herewith is Resolution No. 320-25, Draft 2.
During its meeting on October 22, 2025, the Council amended Resolution No. 320-25 with the
contents of Communication No. 516.1, resulting in the attached draft.
The Council then voted to suspend Rule No. 23-1(d) and passed Resolution No. 320-25, as
amended to Draft 2, on second and final reading.
