FOR INVASIVE SPECIES MANAGEMENT AND SHORELINE
STABILIZATION
Allows for the receipt of $1,901,521 of federally-derived funds to restore eleven
and a half acres of deforested land in Puapuaʻa Iki in North Kona.

BUDGET OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAIʻI FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
ENDING JUNE 30, 2026
Appropriates revenues in the Federal Grants – State Homeland Security Program
Fiscal Year 2021 account ($2,189.48); and appropriates the same to the State
Homeland Security Program Fiscal Year 2021 account, for a total appropriation of
$622,189.48. Funds will be used to support the waste-water bio-hazard mitigation
project.

BUDGET OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAIʻI FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
ENDING JUNE 30, 2026
Increases revenues in the Federal Grants – Traffic Safety Training Project Grant
account ($18,440); and appropriates the same to the Traffic Safety
Training Project account. Funds will be used by the Office of the Prosecuting
Attorney to assist with travel expenses for conferences, trainings, and meetings
related to impaired driving and effective prosecution of impaired driving offenses.
