Lavea-Malloe to serve on the H5m5kua Community <br /> Development Plan Action Committee. <br /> Ms. Lavea-Malloe was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. Her kopuna are from Ho'olehua <br /> on Moloka'i and Waipi'o Valley in H5m5kua. Fortunately, she returned home to Hawai'i Island in <br /> 2008. Since then, she has earned an associate's degree from Hawaii Community College and <br /> two Bachelor of Arts in Administration of Justice and Political Science from the University of <br /> Hawaii at Hilo. <br /> As a proud mother of five children being raised in H5m5kua, Ms. Lavea-Malloe is passionate <br /> about the future of this region, a place where she hopes her children will also raise their <br /> families. She has a strong record of giving back to reputable organizations such as AmeriCorps, <br /> the Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs, and Hui Aloha 'Aina. <br /> If confirmed, Ms. Lavea-Malloe will fill a vacant seat and serve a term ending on December 31, <br /> 2027.
