RESOLUTION NO. 387 25
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE 2025 MAGIC OF THE SEASONS EVENT.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Culture and Education Division,
annually hosts the week-long "Magic of the Seasons — Holiday Open House Event" at the
Hawaii County Building, with the 2025 celebration scheduled from December 8 to 12; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds for electrical
supplies, Christmas trees, and decorations; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 2 will be appropriated to the Department of
Parks and Recreation for the 2025 Magic of the Seasons event.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby
transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
