Galimba, Member <br /> Mr. James E. Hustace, Member <br /> Ms. Jenn Kagiwada, Member <br /> Mr. Matt Kaneali`i-Kleinfelder, Member (via videoconference from Hilo; came in <br /> later) <br /> Ms. Ashley L. Kierkiewicz, Member(via videoconference from Hilo) <br /> Ms. Heather L. Kimball, Member <br /> Ms. Rebecca Villegas, Member <br /> PLEDGE OF The Chair directed the Council to the next order of business, Pledge of <br /> ALLEGIANCE: Allegiance. <br /> (At this time, County Clerk Jon Henricks led the Council in <br /> the Pledge of Allegiance.) <br /> PETITIONS, The Chair directed the Council to proceed to the next order of business, Petitions, <br /> MEMORIALS, Memorials, Certificates of Merit, and Expressions of Condolence. <br /> CERTIFICATES <br /> OF MERIT, AND (Note: At this time: <br /> EXPRESSIONS OF 1) Mr. Hustace presented Certificates of Merit to Oscar Amos and <br /> CONDOLENCE: Rachel Wilczewski in recognition of their accomplishments on a local, <br /> state, and national level as to academic achievement and debate; <br /> 2) Mr. Inaba presented a Certificate for Red Ribbon Week in Hawaii County <br /> from October 23-31, 2025; and <br /> 3) Mr. Inaba presented the October 2025 Haweo Award to Detective Carrie <br /> Akina of the Hawaii Police Department.) <br />
