SUBJECT: Chanter 19 Revision, Life Estate and Remainder
This is in response to your April 3, 1997 memo asking for
help rephrasing the life/remainder interest references in
Section 19-71. The Council was concerned with keeping the
wording consistent to reflect the interest, not the holder. To
that end, we suggest that the interests be referred to as "life
estate and remainder."
