This appointment will be effective at 7:45 a.m. on November 17, 2025. Mr. Segawa. established Wesley R. Segawa & Associates, Inc., in 1981 and Project Management, Inc., in 1986. He has many years of experience dealing with governmental engineering and construction management. Most recently, he has served as the Director for the Department of Environmental Management. Through that position he has demonstrated leadership skills and will bring his expertise and strengths to DPW.. Mr. Segawa will serve a term co -terminus with my tenure, which will end on December 4, 2028. Pursuant to Rule 5(6)(a) of the Rules of Procedures and Organization of the Council of the County of Hawaii, I respectfully request that this nomination be placed on the next available Committee meeting.
