Subject: End live fire training and bombing at Pohakuloa
I am humbly asking that the U.S. Army stop live fire training and bombing at Pohakuloa.
Asa Hawai'i Island resident and descendant for Kanaka Maoli I am disappointed that we are still here
trying to protect our lands, water and air for ourselves and our future generations.
My name is James and I'd like to honor those who have come before me and those who stand today in
protection of our sacred lands, our precious living waters and our clean air. We are one with our land and
environment. Stop bombing us.
It must be said and understood that Pohakuloa is not for sale. You, we, must protect the public trust.
That means no land lease, no extension of lease and no land swap. Simply end the bombing of our lands
at Pohakuloa and restore the land, clean it up and give it back.
