Subject: Strong Support of Resolution 234-25
Aloha Chair Villegas and members of the Policy Committee on Environmental and Natural Resource
Management,
My name is Sete, and I was born and raised in Hawai'i. I've spent my life connected to the land, the water,
and the traditions of our islands. Pohakuloa is part of the'Sina that sustains us, and for decades, it has
been treated in ways that harm our land, ourwater, and our culture.
The bombings and live -fire exercises at PTA have long worried me and my community. Fires, destruction
of pristine lands, and contamination threaten our water and the places our families and ancestors rely
on. It's painful to see the'sina damaged without proper accountability or cleanup.
This resolution is important because it calls for respect. For the land, for our traditions, and fps the,-,
people who live here. Approving Resolution 234-25 would show that Hawaii County values Or

communities and is willing to stand up for tha Wna that has sustained generations. c
