Raised in Kailua-Kona and a proud graduate of Hawai'i Preparatory Academy <br />(HPA), Mr. Fischer possesses a genuine understanding of our island community. <br />After completing his studies at San Diego State University, where he earned a bachelor's <br />degree in construction management, Mr. Fischer returned home in 2016. His professional <br />journey as a self-employed construction manager has equipped him with valuable skills in <br />leadership, problem -solving, and project coordination. These qualities are essential for a role <br />dedicated to public safety and community engagement. <br />Beyond his professional commitments, Mr. Fischer dedicates his spare time to coaching <br />football, where he actively gives back to the youth of his alma mater, HPA, as well as to the <br />North Hawaii community. This commitment to mentorship highlights his passion for fostering <br />positive relationships and supporting the next generation. <br />If confirmed, Mr. Fischer will serve a term from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2030.
