Your Policy Committee on Public Works and Mass Transit, to which was referred Bill 109, reports
as follows:
Bill No. 109, transmitted by Council Chair Holeka Goro Inaba, via Communication No. 620, dated
November 3, 2025, amends Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5, of the Hawaii County Code 1983
(2016 Edition, as amended), relating to no parking at anytime.
Bill 109 prohibits parking at any time on Hina-Lani Street, from Queen Ka`ahumanu Highway to
Anini Street.
Committee Member Inaba provided a brief overview. There was no discussion on the matter.
Your Policy Committee on Public Works and Mass Transit is in accord with the purpose and intent
of Bill No. 109, and recommends its passage on first reading.
