COUNTY OF HAWAI`I <br />�a�tY�of N� <br />mac• <br />•� STATE OF HAWAI`I <br />�tt•OF •N,`J <br />BILL NO. 96 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 25 88 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 15, ARTICLE 7, SECTION 15-62, OF THE <br />HAWAVI COUNTY CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO THE <br />VETERANS ADVISORY COMMITTEE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I: <br />SECTION 1. Chapter 15, article 7, section 15-62, Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 <br />Edition, as amended) is amended by amending subsection (b) to read as follows: <br />"(b) [The ffieffi.befship of the eeffimiaee shall nylUl1e VIlV 1{rrll eJellLUiITV vNvxA Ax Vxxx .xxAmer-iean begien, Big island National Guar-d Retirees Asseeiation, Big island <br />also ineltide eigh4 at large .] Seven or more of the twelve members of the <br />committee shall have served in the United States uniformed services; provided that <br />the committee may still meet and conduct business if due to a vacancy or vacancies <br />less than seven members have served in the United States uniformed services." <br />SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. In printing this <br />ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material need not be included. <br />SECTION 3. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof <br />to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect other provisions or <br />applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or <br />application, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are severable. <br />SECTION 4.
