COUNTY OF HAWAI`I �a�tY�of N� mac• •� STATE OF HAWAI`I �tt•OF •N,`J BILL NO. 96 ORDINANCE NO. 25 88 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 15, ARTICLE 7, SECTION 15-62, OF THE HAWAVI COUNTY CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO THE VETERANS ADVISORY COMMITTEE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I: SECTION 1. Chapter 15, article 7, section 15-62, Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as amended) is amended by amending subsection (b) to read as follows: "(b) [The ffieffi.befship of the eeffimiaee shall nylUl1e VIlV 1{rrll eJellLUiITV vNvxA Ax Vxxx .xxAmer-iean begien, Big island National Guar-d Retirees Asseeiation, Big island also ineltide eigh4 at large .] Seven or more of the twelve members of the committee shall have served in the United States uniformed services; provided that the committee may still meet and conduct business if due to a vacancy or vacancies less than seven members have served in the United States uniformed services." SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material need not be included. SECTION 3. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are severable. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
