support Bill 75 free bus PCPWMT Sept 2
I was relieved to see Bill 75 to continue the free bus. This will be a tremendous help to
our island. About one out of every five people on Hawaii Island lives in poverty. And an
additional one out of three, approximately, is ALICE. This leaves only about half of our
people who are not struggling financially.

ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed): Households with income above the
Federal Poverty Level but below the Household Survival Budget for basic cost of living.
