We are co coordinators of the 11th Annual Hawaii Island All Nations Powwow
Saturday, September 13th and Sunday, 14th, 2025 @ 14-492 Volcano Rd (Puna
Hongwanji), Keaau, Hawaii. The powwow brings together Indigenous peoples
from across Turtle Island and the Pacific for two full days of dance, drum, song,
and cultural sharing. It is more than an event — it is a celebration of unity, healing,
and heritage.
Each year, we have seen families, youth, elders, and veterans come together in a
safe, alcohol- and drug -free space where culture is honored and connections are
strengthened. The powwow is free and open to the public.
The powwow provides opportunities for cultural education, youth programming,
and intergenerational learning. This event has grown each year to the
approximately 600-800 community and off Island visitors who participates each
year. Additionally over past years and current Powwow dancers, drum, and
singers have provided presentations to Connections PCS, Mountain View
Elementary, St. Joseph School, Na Wai Ola PCS, and Volcano Arts and Sciences.
