Subject: Honolulu Landing development.
Aloha,
I respectfully urge Hawaii County to consider purchasing the property that is soon to be listed for sale
around Honolulu Landing.
This area, in my opinion, is not only one of the most beautiful places on Hawaii Island but also a site of
great historical significance. It would be a true loss to see it altered or diminished by development. Many
of us in the community deeplyvalue this place for biking, walking, jogging, and fishing, and it has long
been a cherished part of daily life.
After the loss of Kapoho to the lava flow seven years ago, it would be devastating for the community to
see this area compromised as well.
