Subject: PONC Acquisition of Honolulu Landing
Aloha County Council. I am writing in support of the PONC Acquisition of Honolulu Landing.
This area is already used by the locals for ocean access, and would make a logical acquisition for Public
Access. It is one of the last places on the Puna Coastline for ocean access.
It would also preserve a little bit of our island's history as well.
We lost access to the Mermaid Ponds to private development. Please preserve access to Honolulu
landing.
