Historic Honolulu Landing - Government Beach Road, Pahoa
Aloha! My name is David Creagh! 1 live in Hawaiian Beaches. I have recently learned of the plVo sell the
land for development at the location known as Honolulu Landing in the Puna District of Hawai'i island!
I vehemently oppose this action as it will destroy this beautiful natural area that provides habitat for
many creatures and also holds culturally significant sites such as an ancient historical Hawaiian village
with many artifacts, history, and gravesites!
Honolulu Landing is only a few miles from my home! I enjoy going there to experience the ocean and I
love driving down Government Beach Road and enjoying the natural beauty and peacefulness of this
area!
Developing this land for a subdivision or anything else will bring UNWANTED traffic.,noise.,pollution and
general density and congestion that is simply NOT WANTED or NEEDED in our neighborhood!
Development of this land will degrade and greatly reduce the peacefulness of our neighborhood!
Development of this land will destroy natural wildlife habitats!
Development of this land will destroy an ancient and historically significant Hawaiian village with many
artifacts and gravesites!
In light of this here is simply no good reason to develop this land!
I fully support the effort to purchase this land to be held in perpetuity as a preservation sanctuary so that
no future development will happen on this land!
Sincerely
D. Creagh
