I support Resolution 286-25 being heard by the LAAC on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025
Honolulu Landing is a jewel of a property and deserves to be preserved from commercial development.
Lower Puna (Puna Makai) has limited ocean access after the 2018 volcanic eruption on the East RiftZone
and we need to preserve this land in perpetuity as it already serves as a place to gather bythe ocean, fish
and collect opihi.
We do not want that land to become commercialized. We want that land to be purchased by the County
Of Hawaii and to be held in perpetuity as an Ancient Historical Hawaiian Village Preservation Site.
