Resolution #286-25
Aloha Councilmembers:
I am writing in support of Resolution 286-25. I support the acquisition of Honolulu Landing by the
County of Hawai'i for the community.
I would like for this land to be purchased by the County to be held in perpetuity as an Ancient
Historical Hawaiian Village Preservation Site. This site contains many cultural features and qualifies
to be on the list of State Historic Sites.
Additionally, Puna needs more public access to the shoreline, after losses from the 20i8 flow.
