Support of Resolution 286-25
I support Resolution 286-25 being heard by the LAAC on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025
Honolulu Landing is ajewel of a property and deserves to be preserved from commercial development.
The preservation of this land is far more important than commercial development. From the ecological to the
cultural, this place is important and it is special. Commercial development is notorious for causing erosion via the
removal of vegetation and restructuring the land itself to make it easier to build upon.
It is pertinent to preserve the culture in Hawaii. Do not let these things be forgotten and lost for the sake of
temporary developments. This is a special, unique place.
Do not squander this opportunity to protect Honolulu Landing.
