Council members,
I support Resolution 286-25 being heard by the LAAC on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025.
The Honolulu ahupua'a is home to one of the older undisturbed village sites along the Puna
coastline
which is the area first settled by the polynesians arriving from the South Pacific. This area contains many
cultural features and qualifies to be on the list of State Historic Sites. We should all be in full support of
its preservation as open space.
