In the interest of equality for all citizens, the same walk-in hours must be provided throughout the County, not just for East Hawaii residents. Since the county seat is located in Hilo, too many times other residents of the Big Island are treated in a less than equal manner. If this weke a perfect world, we could pick Hilo up and put it in the geographic center of the Big Island accessible to everyone equally This is not a perfect world, however, and Hilo is along, long way from people who live on the Kohala Coast or in Kona Please treat all citizens of the County in a fair and equitable manner by providing services equally. Integrity in the election process must be demonstrated at all times in order for there to be faith in the process. If the people have no faith in the process we are no better than a Third World Country The County Council can help to restore this faith by allowing equal access to walk-in voting precincts as well as utilizing neutral poll watchers in all absentee walk-in voting precincts Sincerely, 49 0 n0_5 Pamela Martin" Comm.
