Please vote for Resolution #286-25 to buy the Ahupua'a of Honolulu, Honolulu Landing, 364 acres for 2 parcels, to be included into the
PONC program.
The Historic Sites Review Board recognized the Ahupua'a of Honolulu in Puna to be an important cultural and historical site in 1974. A
resolution after the nomination to PONC in the Council in 2007 passed, confirming that the property is qualified to be bought by PONC.
Not only is it one of the very few native Hale forests left, it is covered in archeological sites and is used culturally. Lineal descendants
strongly support the preservation of these properties.
