My name is June Paoa, and I live at 15-729 Kahakai Blvd, Pahoa,
Hawaii 96778. -
I am writing in strong support of Resolution #286-25 and the LAAC to purchase the 364
acres of an Ancient Hawaiian Village and preserve it as an Ancient Historical Preservation
Site.
This land carries deep cultural and historical importance. Protecting it ensures that future
generations will have the opportunity to learn from and honor Hawai`i's heritage. If it is not
safeguarded now, this wahi pana could be lost to development, and with it, a vital part of our
identity.
I strongly urge you to pass Resolution #286-25 and take action to preserve this sacred and
irreplaceable place.
