Subject: Support for resolution #286-25
I submit this testimony in strong support of the County's acquisition of parcels 1-4-003:020 and 1-4-
003:019 through the PONC program OR LAAC/Mayoral Approval. Together, these parcels comprise
the entire ahupua`a of Honolulu in Puna —a wahi pana of profound cultural, historical, and
ecological significance.
I support Resolution #286-25 being heard by the LAAC on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025.
I am a resident of Leilani Estates, Pahoa and feel that this resolution is important to my community as
it protects a vital cultural and historical arear of Hawai'i Nei. Thank you for you help in keeping
Hawai'i alive.
