Aloha State Legislators,

My name is Amber Corrales, I'm a resident of Hawaii County, Kapaau and I'm writing today to share
my concerns and opposition to the continued bombing at P6hakuloa and the continued give away of
our aina to the US Military.
Please respect the residents of Hawai'i County and support/honor Hawai'i County Council Resolution
23425.
Please say NO to the US Army and their request to "fast -track" the process and avoid compliance with
Hawai'i law.
End the live fire and bombing at P6hakuloa; Protect air, water, and sacred lands. No lease. No land
swap. No land sale.
I insist, absolutely insist, on compliance with State law HRS341 and require FULL DISCLOSURE of
environmental, health, and cultural impacts of any impact on Hawaii Island as well as any other site
considered for use or expansion by the US military. Then honor those reports with an ironclad will to
stop bombing sacred ground. Our resources are far to scare to continue overlooking our people.
Please alsoconsider creating a Neutral Nation status for Hawaii. We do not have to participate in the
American Military Industrial Complex anymore, especially in these pay to play wars we start for our
elites personal gain. Our aina is sacred, our people are sacred, and continuing to allow the US
military to bomb our land in order to line the pockets of profiteers MUST END.
Please honor Article XI of the State Constitution and PROTECT the public trust.
Thank you Representatives for listening, please let me know at your earliest convenience where you
stand on this important issue. I can be reached at:Amber Corrales, PO Box 48o, Kapaau, HI 96755•
ON another note, you have abandoned North Kohala. Our roads are completely destroyed. FIX
THEM. The hand over to the county has not worked. Form a partnership now. Akoni Pule Hwy is a
disaster from Hawi to Kawaihae.
Get rid of both the county and state people who finalize construction projects. They are in constant
conflict and it hurts our people when one entity approves and one entity doesn't. The job gets shut
down and people get laid off. Enough of these small minded competitive fools. It is an
embarrassment to our state and county and it hurts our communities.
And also, we have a brand new play court at Kohala Middle. We have been told it can't open for two
years as we wait for the state to install new fire safety alarms at schools statewide. We all know how
that is going to go (Got AC anyone?). We will not wait for.DAGS to finagle whose cousins, uncles, 1
buddies will get the contracts and kickbacks. Give funds to our school now to hire o own L
omm.

providers. In fact, help eliminate that racketeering organization of DAGS. Please ensure our waiver is
approved. We can hear all fire alarms from the school on the entire property. Ensure it opens now. It
is ready. The keiki are ready.
Sincerely,
Amber Corrales
