Resolution 234-25
Support Res. 234-25
Aloha County Council Members, on behalf of the 11 grade of Ka 'Umeke K5'eo. As young people who are privileged to
call Hawai'i our home, we believe it is important to think about the future of our'aina and our community. This resolution
matters to us because it represents rest for our land, for our culture and for the generations who will come after us. The
decisions that are made today will affect not only us, but also our younger generations yet to come, and the many people
who call this place their home. As students, we learn every day that history teaches us lessons. in Hawai'i, those lessons
remind us that land is not just a resource, but a sacred part of who we are. On behalf of our class, we respectfully ask'you
to pass Resolution 234-25. We believe it is a step forward protecting what makes Hawaii unique; and towards ensuring a
healthier, more respectful future for everyone,
Sincerely,
The 11 grade class of Ka 'Umeke Ka'eo
