I strongly support this resolution.
Pohakuloa has long been used by the military and has been degraded by them with no attempt to reinstate the
land & waters. Puhakuloa is a Wai Pana, sacred to the Hawaiian people and as such has been disrespected for a
very long time.
While I am not a Hawaiian nor do I live in the Islands, I have been visiting for some 40 years, bringing my hard
earned dollars to support the economy of the islands. I have strong ties through my Hawaiian contacts in my
home community of Oakland, Ca, as well as having owned property for more than 20 years in Puna
Palisades development. I deeply care about this land & am happy to lend my voice to the support of this
measure.
