Aloha. Please register Native Tenant Protection Council for Testimony on protection of PTA; Clean-up
Budget.
For Public Health & Safety: Humbly requesting:
1. Immediate Closure of PTA Firing Ranges due to verified presence of DU as specified in NRC/ATSDR
Reports. Immediate Danger/ Health Risk created by Live Fire Training at PTA into Ranges within leased
area; by creating DU Oxide Dust.
NOTE: DU Oxide Dust is an increased risk if inhaled; crossing lung barriers.
At this time, according to Reporter(s), practices rounds are still being fired into PTA DU Contaminated
ranges; but because of DU, the shells are not picked up as required by the lease —creating a "Catch 22"
and allowed multiple Lease Violation.
2. DU OXIDE DUST Extreme Danger!
>Dr. L. Pang, DoD/WHO/Maui DOH ... at the request of our on island nurse RN Linda Faye Kroll, made
a short informative video (15+-minutes) on the Health Risks and differences between Radiation Hazards
of a Davy Crockett Spotter Rounds in fragments or Unexploded on the ground at PTA; and id
Dust. Comm.

3. NO 2/3 LEGISLATIVE VOTE ON DU *White an "after -the -fact" permit for DU at PTA was issued by the
NRC, there never was the (paraphrased) 1979
"required 2/3 Legislative Vote for storage of radioactive materials in... Hawai'i..." Please initiate vote
request.
By following process as required, proper discussion on DU and DU Oxide situation at State Legislation;
including Hawaiian Affairs & OHA.
4. CLEAN-UP BUDGET = Fair Market Value of the Land= County of Hawai'i
"UNIVERSAL TAX ASSESSMENT" [CONTACT: Dept. of Finance— Tax Assessment Division to initiate actual
monetary amount of the Clean-up Budget for PTA as required by PTA BLNR Lease.
NOTE: Dept. of Finance stated all improvements would be added to "Fair Market Value of Land"*
(*used for Clean-up Budget purposes only. PTA is not'state owned' or even federally owned; subject
property of entire PTA is under Assessment for Clean-up/DU/Environmenta[/Water
5. Qualifies for Federal Undertaking Face -To -Face Consultation Meeting for Kanaka Maoli People and
Hawaiian Cultural Practioners; set up through DOI Hawaiian Affairs/Insular Offices on Clean-up Budget
and other critical problems facing local community concerning DU Oxide Dust & Cease Fire into all PTA
Firing Ranges and areas suspected or known to be contaminated with DepletedUranium:

6. DoD Components in Hawaii listing under controversial (land, Lease violations, Environmental justice;
Clean-up Budget for PTA)
7. TREATY: Consideration of Friendly Relations, International and Foreign Affairs; for review of Kanawai
Kamehameha III Treary with USA DoD. Training and growing food on Fort Lands in trade of USA DoD
protection of Hawai'i Nei from foreign invasion.
