I urge you to follow the will of the people who elected you and protect the land that is
entrusted to you by supporting and passing Resolution 234-25.

The Hawaii Supreme court has ruled that the state failed to protect the land at PTA. The
environmental damage will not be healed in our lifetime even if the bombing stops
tomorrow. PTA is a total environmental disaster and its environmental impact statement was
failed by the Hawaii State Board of
Land and Natural Resources.
The desecration of sacred land is shameful and also illegal. The Ka Pa' a Kai analysis will
reveal the depth of deception and desecration. The military should pay to restore the land
and pay to restore all cultural sites and compensate the people for emotional damages as
well as environmental damages.
In reply to the Chamber of Commerce, it should be noted that current military Al and
simulation technology makes this facility a toxic and useless relic of the Occupation.
I beg you to pass this resolution for the health of the people today, and the health of future
generations. The time is now.
