Aloha Hawai'i County Members,
I'm writing in strong support of Res. 234-25
We know that military occupation has done little to nothing to benefit people of Hawai'i, and in fact
has poisoned, destroyed and brought unease to our island home.
NOW is the time to allow them to figure out alternatives' for their practices.
We are no longer allowing them to use us, or these precious islands as their test subjects.
The beauty and richness of our island home, lie in our ability to protect and cultivate the land, sea, air
and fresh water sources for generations to come.
Having a military training area, especially in the special and designated CONSERVATION place of
Pohakuloa does not allow us to protect and cultivate for our livelihood in Hawai'i.
