Members of the Policy Committee on Environmental and Natural Resource Management,
Aloha. My name is David Hunt and I live in Honoka'a.
I strongly support Bill 83.
I ask you to support Bill83 WITH an amendment to include a ban on single -use Lp asticsespecial(v
n(ast(c water bottles.
We simply MUST reduce plastics consumption because it has been found in our blood & organs.
Banning single -use plastics will create a market for alternatives and will attract investments in safer,
compostable, and regenerative products.
