Testimony in Support of Bill 83
I am writingto send my strong support for Bill83 / Amendments to Bill20 relatingto prohibitingthe use of
disposable plastic service ware and to -go containers. Plastic pollution is a well-known issue here on our
beaches and in ourwaterways, one that requires a multi -pronged approach. I believe banning the sale
and distribution of unnecessary single use plastics is an important first step for our community in its
progress towards sustainability, and aligns with the county's Zero Waste Initiative goals.
