SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Bill No. 63, Draft 2; AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CHAPTER 25, ARTICLE 5, OF THE HAWAI'I COUNTY
CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO
DWELLINGS.
Transmitted herewith is a proposed amendment to Bill No. 63, Draft 2. The amendment is shown
below in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016
Edition, as amended) as hereinbelow provided; material to be inserted is underscored.
1. SECTION 2 of Bill No. 63, Draft 2, is deleted.
2. Bill No. 63, Draft 2, is amended by adding a section to be appropriately designated as
SECTION 2 and to amend chapter 25, article 5, division 13, section 25-5-132, of the Hawaii
County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as amended) by amending subsection (c) to read as
follows:
"(c) Buildings, dwellings, and uses normally considered directly accessory to the uses
permitted in this section shall also be permitted in the MCX district."
A copy of the new draft of this bill that would result if this amendment were adopted is attached.
