COMMITTEE ON FINANCE
Re: Comm. No. 660/13ill No. 113
Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 113, reports as follows:
Bill No. 113, transmitted by Fire Chief Kazuo S.K.L. Todd via Communication No. 660, dated
December 12, 2025, amends Ordinance No. 25-45, as amended, the Operating Budget of the
County of Hawaii for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026.
This bill appropriates revenues in the Federal Grants — Hazard Mitigation Grant Program account
($68,000); and appropriates the same to the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program account. Funds would
be used to support Phase 1 (planning and preparatory activities) of the Community Wildfire Fuels
Reduction and Defensible Space Project.
There was no discussion on this matter.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 113, and
recommends its passage on first reading.
