To the members of the Policy Committee on Environmental and Natural Resource Management:
My name is Ruth Robison. I live in Hawaii County Council District 2 in Hilo. I am testifying in support of Bill 83. This bill is
amending the County Code regarding plastic and polystyrene usage.
This amendment will strengthen the definition of reusables and work towards eliminating potential loopholes for
plasticware in our landfill. Thank you for the opportunity to testify and thank you for your service to the people of Hawaii
County.
