Subject: Opposition to Resolution 320-25
Aloha GOEA Hawai'i County Council Committee Chair and Members,
I respectfully o p p ose Hawaii County Council Draft Resolution 320-25 and urge you not to
support it.
While due process and constitutional protections are important to all of us, this resolution is
unnecessary and may create division or confusion rather than strengthening our community. The
Council's focus should remain on addressing the real, everyday needs of Hawai'i Island residents,
rather than passing symbolic measures that do not improve local governance or public trust.
Please vote no on Resolution 320-25 to keep our County government focused on practical solutions that
serve everyone fairly.
