Dear Council Members,
I write as a resident of Hawai'i Island to support the passage of Resolution 320-25. The
Trump/MAGA administration is rapidly tearing down the rule of law and assaulting
members of the community for their race, ethnicity, sex or gender orientation at the
Federal level. This statement of principles, with commitments to uphold due process and
the Constitutions of Hawai'i and the U.S. is a valuable step in preserving the community
values of Hawaii, and our State rights.
