Support for Res 325-25 - Support for He Ala Pono EV and Sustainability Fair
Aloha, Hawaii County Councilmembers,
The He Ala Pono EV and Sustainability Fair is an annual celebration of food security, disaster
preparedness, STEM education, renewable energy, clean transportation, energy efficiency, and
sustainable housing, and more. It offers our community the opportunity to learn from organizations
contributingto our resilience, environmental protection, and quality of life. We strategically host the
event at the Prince Kuhio Plaza to maximize attendance.
This year's event featured several groups that offered information about their mission, services, and
activities, as well as opportunities for volunteerism and employment. This event took place inside the
plaza and at its parking area on busy Makaala St.
This year's participating organizations included:

• Big Island EV (Hawaii EV)
