On behalf of Malama O Puna, we wish to than CM Kierkiewicz for her support of the activities ofr�
Black Sands Subdivision. The work over the last three years has brought amazing changes to the
community in the form of monthly activities for keiki at the Black Sands Community Garden,
improved resources for the Malama Keiki Program that helps children stay engaged in learning
during the year- round school schedule breaks and for the health and hygiene program that has
helped provide essential produced to very low income and kupuna households in that community.
This project makes a difference and the Black Sands community members have been great
partners with Malama O Puna hosting information booths at many Puna festivals, fairs and
activation days.
