Subject: Bill52 regarding household henneries
Aloha, thankyou foryour time and attention.
My family and I have property, where my parents live full time, in Fern Acres.
I feel this bill is unnecessary and infringing on the self sufficiency and community mindedness we should
all have.
The free range chickens aid in keeping down pests, to include coqui, and stir the soil for better health
without the damage and danger of the pigs.
If someone has a rooster and a neighbour is bothered by it, we are ohana enough to talk about it, offer a
milk crate to stifle it at night, and make pono.
Selling excess eggs that might otherwise go to waste, so the those funds can further feed our families is
smart living and contributes to bettering everyone's lives
Bill52 needs to be dropped.
